Edouard de Lamaze, President of CARLARA INTERNATIONAL, co-founded the firm CARBONNIER LAMAZE RASLE, of which he is now the sole manager. An influential business lawyer, he has overseen the firm's steady and sustained growth while also being actively involved in professional organizations and public life.
At CARBONNIER LAMAZE RASLE, he spearheaded the development of the Banking Department, historically one of the firm's first areas of expertise, as well as the Economic and Commercial Department. Over the years, leading his team, he has significantly expanded the firm's financial practice thanks to the continued trust of its clients. He oversees the firm's international development.

Furthermore, appointed by the Council of Ministers in 1997, he served in two governments until 2002 as Interministerial Delegate for the Liberal Professions. This responsibility led him, in particular, to establish financial holding companies for the liberal professions, whose economic importance for these professions is now being rediscovered.
Former member of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels from 2010 to 2015, he has acquired a great mastery of community decision-making methods and the functioning of European Institutions.
Having been the government commissioner for the reform of the law of voluntary sales, he was appointed in 2018 by the Keeper of the Seals for a mission relating to the Art Market.
After being a member of the Council of Voluntary Sales for several years, he has presided over the Council of Auction Houses (CMV) since March 13, 2024, by appointment by order of the Minister of Justice.
